When Isaac wants to sleep, nobody can stop him!

He was feeling sleepy one day while in the car and he had this 半梦半醒 look - want to sleep yet very 'kaypoh' and wanting to hear what we are talking about.. enjoy!

Isaac's 1st Birthday 'Ritual'

According to Hokkien traditions, a kid is supposed to 'choose' an item that will best represent his 'fate' for the rest of his life. So, during Isaac's 1st Chinese birthday, we arranged that session for him!

We put a few items on the table: abacus, calculator, pen, ruler, book, red eggs, ang ku kueh and money. Watch the video to see what Isaac picked up!

Isaac is 1 year-old!

Time flies. Isaac is one year old already! We brought him to the Bird Park to celebrate his one year of being, and he was quite happy about it. And well, all of us are really exhausted after the 2 hour outing!

An uncle at the coffeestall bought Isaac a drum recently and Grandpa uses it to make Isaac excited enough to do a lion dance performance! See how he shake his head, at times rather vigourously!

Isaac carries a pail!

Grandpa decided to give Isaac a new toy one evening - a new pail! Isaac happily carried it from the market back to home! And, since then, he has been carrying a full pack of toilet rolls and tissue paper for grandpa!
